Prison fencing specialist Binns Fencing has launched a brand new website aimed at main contractors and the custodial community.
The new responsive website at www.binns-fencing.com is aimed at security specifiers at main contractors, construction companies and government departments working on high security sites, such as oil & gas networks, military and critical national infrastructure and prisons.
It carries regular news, product updates and accreditations and integrates with Binns’ social media platforms, with a view to carrying media-rich content and increasing interactivity.
The site features a proposed new model for prison perimeter security procurement and delivery, which Binns believes could offer significant cost savings on PIDS cable installation and contract and project management costs.
It also covers product lines from welded mesh and steel railings to palisade and chain link fencing, gates, barriers and turnstiles and Binns’ own Flexible Security Topping (FST).
FST, which is fully tested for use in UK high security prisons, is a steel mesh arch fence topping, curved back over the top of a steel fence, fixed to a flexible steel bracket that is designed to move when people try to climb it while withstanding their weight.
